Bodegas Casa Rojo, presents the Tokyo Gómez Rojo Brut Nature Sparkling Wine made from several varieties of 100% Pedro Ximénez grapes.

The 2019 vintage stood out as an exceptionally extraordinary harvest in El Valle de La Raja, with an unexpected outcome marked by a meteorological phenomenon called DANA. After a rainy winter, spring and summer developed excellently, allowing our Pedro Ximénez grape to ripen perfectly for the production of this sparkling wine. However, the harvest was affected by DANA, with intense rains impacting the entire Mediterranean. Fortunately, those rains were less intense in the "Altiplano" of Murcia.

The origin of the grapes for this special wine dates back to 100% Pedro Ximénez from a single plot located in the northern foothills of the Sierra de La Pila.

The barrel aging process adds another dimension to this wine. After the harvest, the wine has rested on its lees for 36 months. This extended aging period contributes to the complexity and richness of Tokyo Gómez Rojo Brut Nature, allowing the flavors to develop and integrate harmoniously.
