Los terrenos donde se fundó PRADOREY fueron en origen propiedad de Isabel la Católica, quien le dio el ilustre nombre de Real Sitio de Ventosilla. Posteriormente, el rey Felipe III disfrutó de este sitio privilegiado donde tenía un lugar favorito para la caza: El PRADO DEL REY.

Fue en esta finca donde Rubens y Lope de Vega desplegaron todo sus artes y talento ante los reyes de Castilla y España.

La finca y su terruño esta ubicada en un entorno único y privilegiado, en esta finca de 3.000 hectáreas conviven siglos de historia con un modelo sostenible y cuidadoso con el medio ambiente. Está situada en la parte oriental de la Ribera del Duero, una de las zonas de mayor calidad debido a su características únicas de altitud, terreno, clima y composición del suelo.
