Crafted by the Fontana family winery in Spain's Uclés region, Dominio de Fontana Vendimia Selección is a full-bodied red wine boasting a rich heritage. With over three decades of experience, Bodegas Fontana specializes in Tempranillo-based wines aged in oak barrels. Vendimia Selección takes this tradition a step further, incorporating Graciano grapes alongside Tempranillo. These grapes, meticulously hand-harvested from the winery's sprawling 400-hectare estate, are vinified separately in small stainless steel tanks to ensure optimal flavor extraction.
Following fermentation, Vendimia Selección embarks on an 18-month journey of maturation. The wine is aged in a combination of new and used French and American oak barrels. This meticulous aging process imbues the wine with captivating layers of flavor. Hints of vanilla, spice, and smoky notes from the oak marry beautifully with the inherent character of the Tempranillo and Graciano grapes.
The result is a complex and well-structured red wine, perfect for enjoying with a variety of dishes. To fully appreciate the depth and nuance of Dominio de Fontana Vendimia Selección, serve it at a cool room temperature between 17 and 18°C (62-64°F). Quinta do Noval: Quinta do Noval es un nombre histórico, una verdadera institución en el mundo del vino.
Quinta do Noval es una bodega de vino situada en la región del Douro en Portugal. Fundada en 1715, la bodega es conocida por su producción de vinos de Oporto de alta calidad y por ser la primera bodega en producir un vino de Oporto de una sola finca.
La finca tiene 145 hectáreas de viñedos plantados en terrazas, con uvas de las variedades Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Sousão y otras variedades autóctonas del Douro. La bodega produce una amplia variedad de vinos, desde los vinos clásicos de Oporto hasta los vinos tintos y blancos de mesa.
Entre los vinos más destacados de Quinta do Noval se encuentra el Nacional Vintage, elaborado únicamente con uvas de la finca de Quinta do Noval.
