Red Wine Enrique Mendoza Finca Xaconero

The Red Wine Enrique Mendoza Finca Xaconero from Bodegas Enrique Mendoza presents this red wine from the D.O. Alicante, created from grape varieties 90% Monastrell, 5% Garnacha and 5% Syrah.

It is fermented in small stainless steel tanks at low temperature (25°C) with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard itself. A lot of whole grain and little extraction in the pumping over, seeking balance and harmony. Post-fermentation maceration for 5 days.

It is aged for 12 months in Allier French oak barrels. These barrels are medium-light toasted to fully respect the fruit in the wine.

This wine is grown in an environmentally sustainable way with native Mediterranean varieties that reflect the mountains, climate and character of Alicante.
