After the death of D. Antonio Barbadillo Ambrossy in 1921, a wine called "grandfather" was created referring to his grandfather Benigno Barbadillo Hortigüela, founder in 1821 of the winery. These wines that passed from grandfather to grandson and thence to the sixth generation, untouched, have aged for over a hundred years.

The alcoholic content by volume is 20% vol.

We recommend serving it between 14°C and 17°C.
