This wine has had a 5 -month breeding in French oak barrel. Serve this wine at a temperature between 16º and 18º, before being served it is advisable to decant it.

Red Pilla with a purple, bright and glyceric layer ribe.
NOSE
Fruit notes stand out on the nose remembering sweet red fruits, such as black plum, cherry and also chocolate. After oxygenating in the cup leave balsamic notes of Mount Lower, with very present rosemary and lavender and laurel.
MOUTH
It is a very fruit, fresh wine, with mint and cocoa notes (Aftereight). Blackish tannin expressive mainly fruit, remembering strawberry and cream mousse with a subtly spicy ending. It has a very integrated wood that brings a subtle postgust

KNOW Bodega Pago del Vicario

Bodega Pago del Vicario: Una apuesta por la innovación y la excelencia enológica.

El viñedo de Pago del Vicario está situado a 600 metros de altitud, en la ribera del río Guadiana. Abarca una superficie de 130 hectáreas de viñedo, en el que predomina la Tempranillo, la uva española por excelencia. Se cultivan además Garnacha, Graciano, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon y Petit Verdot en tintas; Sauvignon Blanc y Chardonnay en blancas.

Posee una orografía ondulada, con pendientes decrecientes hacia el río. Su proximidad al curso de agua, le proporciona un microclima excepcional, con temperaturas suaves y un gran contraste termico entre día y noche, lo que favorece la síntesis de aromas en la época de maduración de la uva.

Los suelos, muy heterogéneos en cuanto a textura y composición, van desde los francoarenosos y francolimosos, a zonas donde predominan las cuarcitas, alternando con pizarras. Este hecho aporta una gran riqueza de matices, ya que las 29 parcelas en que se ha dividido el pago, se ajustan a las propiedades de cada tipo de suelo. El manejo está individualizado para cada parcela, de acuerdo con el tipo de vino a elaborar.
