Vineyard and Winemaking
This red wine is made from three varieties from different vineyards and vineyards. The Garnacha variety comes from various sites in San Martín de Valdeiglesias with different altitudes and orientations, with weathered granitic soil and the vines have an average age of between 25 and 70 years. The Syrah comes from Casilla de Don Carlos where the soils are more sandy and are at an altitude of 820 meters. Finally, the Tempranillo comes from La Aliseda, where the soils are sandy and at an altitude of 650 meters.
Once the bunches are harvested and taken to the winery, they undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration and then partial destemming of the grapes. Once fermentation is complete, the must is pressed.
The name of the red wine G3 receives its name where the G refers to the Garnacha and the number 3 to the combination of the different vineyards with their respective characteristics to elaborate a perfect synergy in the wine.
ValleYglesias Winery
ValleYglesias is the result of a “madness” of two brothers in the late nineties who came from worlds other than wine and catering, but decided to bet on the land where they came from to create something unique and different. They decided to combine sport and music to offer a proposal with a young, carefree and lively character. Currently they export more than half of their production, but they are also recognized locally in Madrid and the Sierra de Gredos.
The madness continued and they decided to enter the world of restoration and created the ValleYiglesiasRestaurant where they continued in their line of not losing their essence and demonstrate their combination of tradition and modernity always aiming at quality above all.
