Grapes from vineyards planted by Tomás Esteban with an age of 15 to 25 years, productions of 4,500 kg hectare totally free of fertilizers and systemic treatments.
The production is very gentle without large extractions, in stainless steel vats with a capacity of 14,000 kg. During production, no enzymes or yeasts other than those native to the grape itself are used.

Bodegas y Viñedos Valderiz: Historia de una familia unida al vino
En el año 1980, el cabeza de la familia, Tomás Esteban, estudiando las posibilidades que tenía para sacar partido a ciertos terrenos, que tenía en propiedad en Roa, centro de la Ribera del
Duero, se dio cuenta, que debido a la climatología, las condiciones del terreno, y su conocimiento, transmitido por su padre, y apoyado por su entusiasmo por el vino, comprendió que lo mas
apropiado era continuar con la tradición familiar, y dedicarse en exclusiva a los viñedos. Fue entones, cuando empezó a configurar lo que es ahora una de las plantaciones de viñedo más
reconocidas de Ribera del Duero.
Desde hace más de 10 años, Juan Esteban se ha incorporado plenamente al trabajo de campo.
En 1997, empezó la andadura de Bodegas y viñedos Valderiz, la viticultura sufrió otra vuelta de tuerca, al verse reducida importantemente la producción por hectárea.
La buena sintonía que hay en la familia, que permanece totalmente unida se ve traducida en una gama de vinos de muy importante calidad, fiel reflejo de la familia Esteban y de sus viñedos.
