Wine white Urtaran
Wine White Urtaran is a white wine that belongs to the Winery Goianea. It has Arabako Txakolina appellation of origin and is made up of grape variety Hondarrabi Zuri.
Driving system: simple Guyot.
Climate: A cold winter of normal rainfall conditions, which continued with a spring of average rain precipitation. The main feature of this vintage 2014 is the wind of southern component in the last week of September which allowed a proper maturation.
Viticulture: Own vineyards worked under a viticulture of minimal intervention and reasoned, located in three production areas located in Artomana and Lezama. The Artomana area is characterized by floors of character alluvial and deep, with a climate between Atlantic and continental, depending of the vintage. For this wine seseleccionan within each plot the areas with the greatest potential and are vinified separately.
Harvest: 100% manual in boxes of 15 kilos. Vintage in first week of October.
Preparation:-Press bajorendimiento vertical press (60% Max). Fermentation spontaneously with native yeasts in 600l of chestnut and 400l French oak barrels. 6 months of permanence in Lees.
