Chouffe Blanche: Our emblematic gnome roams the mountains in all seasons, both summer and winter. With his cane and his gigantic vest, he regularly climbs the 6,666 meters of Mount CHOUFFE, to breathe the fresh air of the peaks perpetually covered in snow.

Once he reaches the top, he likes to pour himself a CHOUFFE and admire the view.
Grouff, grouff? A curious yeti with shaggy hair approached timidly and recognized the sound of the beer being poured. "CHOUFFE!...not Grouff!" Marcel told him. The white landscape inspired Marcel to call his new beer, so refreshing, smooth and spicy: CHOUFFE Blanche!

BRASSERIE D'ACHOUFFE

Brasserie D'Achouffe is a famous Belgian brewery. La Chouffe was a great success and over time Brasserie D'Achouffe launched other successful beers such as Cherry Chouffe and McChouffe, among others. At the end of summer 2006, the Duvel-Moortgat brewery group bought the brewery and today Achouffe beers are distributed in more than 40 countries around the world.

According to the brewery's founders, the credit for La Chouffe's recipe belongs to the sole survivor of a colony of gnomes. Legend has it that he gave the recipe for his beer to the humans of D'Achouffe. As a thank you, the image of the red hat gnomes is displayed on all Chouffe craft beers. Today the beer is made with water from the same Cedrogne stream where the legendary beer flowed.
