The Encomienda de Cervera farm, is in the heart of the volcanic massif of the Calatrava field At an altitude between 750 and 850 meters above sea level, within the noble and cultural city of Almagro, delimited by the Sierra de Arzollar, Cañada Real Soriana, between valleys and mountains with a great density of holm oaks and juni Romero, thyme, etc., where you can distinguish the black lands of volcanic origin, the reds (almaagre) that, according to some historians, give name of the city of Almagro, and the limestones and stony.
All this, under the watchful eye of the Maar Volcano de la Hoya de Cervera, declared a natural monument in the year 1999, the calm waters of one of the main tributaries of the Guadiana River, the Jabalón River.
The injured orography, which configures its three storm basins, offers a peculiar microclimate, with fresh nights that compensate for daytime insolations.
