Pregon White Wine
The Pregon White Wine has been elaborated from the 100% Verdejo grape variety, it has a D.O. Rueda.
The Pregon White Wine is made with grapes where 80% comes from centenary vineyards cultivated in goblet, whose harvest is done by hand, 20% of the grapes come from a young vineyard between 20 and 40 years, cultivated in trellis where the harvest is done with machine at night.
The grapes are cold macerated for 10 hours before pressing. Fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and stirred to keep the lees in suspension.
Bodegas Riojanas was founded in 1890 by the Artacho and Carreras families and is one of the 13 so-called Centenary Wineries of La Rioja. It is a family winery that is currently managed by the fifth generation.
Bodegas Riojanas is a classic winery, which uses new technologies for the production of its wines, and is gaining ground in other designations of origin.
