Vinos y Viñedos Tudanca: EMPRESA FAMILIAR
Vinos Tudanca cuenta con 36 hectáreas de viñedo propio, que proceden de la herencia de Vicenta de las Heras y sus antecesores, hasta alcanzar en estos momentos la quinta generación de mujeres viticultoras.
La mayor parte del viñedo se encuentra en el corazón de la Ribera del Duero en la localidad de La Horra y Gumiel de Mercado, todas dentro de la provincia de Burgos.
Nuestro viñedo viejo es de altísima calidad, teniendo cepas en vaso de 80 años de edad. En espaldera, las edades de las vides oscilan entre los 20 y 30 años.
El suelo de nuestras fincas es de textura franco-arcillosa y franco-arenosa, de fertilidad moderada. Un buen drenaje del suelo garantiza una aportación hídrica suficiente a las plantas durante los periodos de primavera-verano.
Nuestro viñedo se sitúa en una media de altitud de 850 metros.
Un clima continental extremo, característico de la zona, con mucha diferencia de temperatura entre el día y la noche, hace que las plantas realicen bien la fotosíntesis y se obtenga una madurez equilibrada.
El rendimiento medido de nuestros viñedos es de aproximadamente de 4500 kg por hectárea, estando por debajo de los 7000 kg por hectárea permitido por la Denominación de Origen y buscando así la máxima calidad.
La vendimia es manual en cajas de 15 kg, la uva pasa por mesa de selección y se elabora en pequeños depósitos de 5000 litros con fermentaciones muy lentas a una temperatura controlada.
Debido a las características de nuestros viñedos y para garantizar una mayor calidad, es necesario un tiempo de guarda largo.
La producción anual por botellas y referencias es la siguiente:
