Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce presents its Pink Wine Ilurce Garnacha made from 100% Garnacha grapes.

Do you all remember that baby who, while he was awake, had an earthquake and made a lot of noise with his rattle?

This is our Ilurce Rosado. This “war” is transmitted in the rigor with which we select their grapes, the maceration, bleeding and fermentation of their grapes. For these reasons, it requires a lot of care.

The camouflage print, in addition to referring to this “warrior” character, also refers to our commitment to Garnachas, such as our Ángel and El Sueño de Amado wines.

Vineyard.

Every year we search for this wine among our Garnacha plots for those that reach full maturation with the lowest alcoholic level. Not every year the same plots participate in this vineyard, but we are able to assemble the best Garnacha clones from different vineyards.

Elaboration.

We organize the night harvest to collect the grapes on trellises and on colder days to harvest the old vines in glasses. Once the destemmed grapes are in the tank, the must remains in contact with the skins for 48 hours at 8-10ºC. If we have reached the desired color, we bleed the must, taking advantage of the low temperature to do a static settling. Once the must is clean, we ferment it at a controlled temperature between 15-18ºC.
