The Whisky Macallan Sienna belongs to the range of malts Macallan 1824, characterized by eliminating the minimum age of whisky label. Rather than age, the range offers sensations that correspond to the colors of each bottle. The Macallan Scottish is famous for use unusually small copper stills to give the qhisky a maximum contact with copper, which helps in the concentration of the distillate of new creation. These stills are so famous that they even appear on 10 pounds from the Bank of Scotland banknotes. The main ingredient of all Macallan distillates are the Spanish oak barrels cured in jerez and the barrels of American oak cured with bourbon, contributing 60% of the flavor and aromas to the whisky. This also allows that all colors are natural, and no product Macallan contains dyes artificial. Only the interaction of the distillate of new creation with the barrels of aging oak provides the wide range of natural colors of all whiskies, from Dark Oak to mahogany.
